September 26: Mesothelioma Awareness Day

On September 26, patient advocates will recognize Mesothelioma Awareness Day to raise awareness of the disease and raise funds for mesothelioma research.

At the World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC), recently held in Denver, we sat down with the Executive Director of the Mesothelioma Applied Research FoundationMelinda Kotzian.

Join us in helping to spread not just awareness about mesothelioma — but the fact that innovation is happening for these patients.  Lives are being saved.  What was once perceived as a death sentence, now has hope thanks to more clinical trial options than ever before.

We need to make sure the pipeline of progress continues to grow.  We need to make sure patients get the right treatment, right NOW!  The Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation is helping patients do that.

If you or someone you know has been exposed to asbestos — don’t call the lawyer on television first — visit curemeso.org — they are here to help.

We would like to thank the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) for the partnership that made this video possible.

We would also like to thank our online media partners and sponsors for this content CancerConnect and A Woman’s Health
